Product Innovation at Lund

Lund LookThe most fun I have at Lund is working closely with design schools and students during our product innovation phase. I remember how exciting it was when, as a senior, I was chosen to participate in real world projects and to see those projects hit the market. It took all the academics and made them concrete.

I thought it would be fun to open up the ideation/innovation conversation to Industrial Design students via social media. The feedback and concepts you come up with are always insightful and creative.

Please email me at design@lundinter.com if you want to be part of my design council. This could be a nice add to your resume or portfolio and can help us all build a community of automotive designers of like mind.

Aeroskin design board

Let’s get into it.  I want to hear thoughts on this new, exciting product.

The idea behind the Aeroskin was to create a sophisticated, streamline product with all the benefits of a traditional hoodshield.  Style first, this product addresses many challenges in todays hoodshield market…we are seeing significant interest, I need to hear how you are feeling about it though, this helps steer design direction and future plans….

Nifty is one of our long lasting brands,  covering your vehicle in so many different ways.  Above is a design board we used to help develop our latest floor mat, the Catch It.  All-weather performance for All-weather travelers.
