Anoka, MN, Nov. 1, 2005 - A new, versatile cargo management accessory, the Hitch Hand, makes carrying extended payloads easier than ever before, Lund has announced.
Constructed of heavy-duty steel for the most demanding jobs, the Hitch Hand acts as a rugged, multi-use extension of a truck's bed, providing extra support for long loads as well as a handy, on-the-job workspace. A patented steel wall support bar provides 7" of added ground clearance and acts like a spring, flexing with the vehicles suspension. Plus, the Hitch Hand features side wings that adjust from 27" to 49" to accommodate wide cargo like plywood and drywall.
The Hitch Hand delivers a generous 750-pound distributed load capacity and - for added convenience - is designed with side supports that fold down to create a portable sawhorse or worktable.
The Hitch Hand fits in standard 2" receiver hitches and comes complete with D.O.T. approved red/white reflective tape and safety flag. It's backed by a one-year limited warranty.
