I couldn't reach the top of my back window on my Tahoe when I washed my car. Now I can reach the top of the window AND the back of the roof too!
Looks good and my wife likes it so she can get up into our F250 which she couldn't before.
I am very satisfied with the Hitch step. The aluminum step itself has good grip, and should not rust, neither should the painted steel mount. I just hope the spring is stainless so it won't rust either.
It is the right size for my requirements. I have a 5th wheel tailgate and it is easy to step into my truck box. Would recommend this product for my friends.
The hitch is exactly what we have been looking for. Something attractive and not bulky but works for what I need it for.

I enjoy this product because it makes it easy to get things out of the bed without putting the tailgate down. My truck has oversized tires and wheels and this is a great help.
My 09 dodge ram sits high at the tail end and is hard to get into the bed. This hitch lift is just the ticket to help me do that, I like the way it folds flat, it is NOT a knee knocker. I buy a lot of toys for my truck and this one is one of the most useful. Thanks Lund. Don in Dallas, Texas
Item is perfect, just as described. Some people wrote in their reviews that this didn't fit into their trailer hitches... I have a stock 2002 GMC Envoy trailer hitch, it fit perfectly. I don't know why, but I was expecting a Hitch Pin to be included. It wasn't, that's not good or bad... I'm just pointing that out so you know you need one if you buy this.
The Hitch Step is truly a nice step. The step surface is a non slip surface and the step is made from aluminun so it is very light but strong. The only modification I made was to file out the slot where the hitch pin goes through because the step did not slide into my receiver as far as it should and was not tight. After I was done I spray painted the outside surface and the edge black to match our 2006 Grand Cherokee and it looks great. Good work. Keep it up. Walter British Columbia, Canada
This is a plain looking brushed alum. step that was just what I was looking for. After comparing the price of the fancy ones this was an excellent buy.
This is a very nice product. It's well made and is small. Hopefully it will not attract attention from anyone who wants to steal it.
Cheap, rugged, very useful for short folks like me, and the hitch-step has a low profile. I kind of like it.
The appearance and quality of the hitch step was great, but the fit into the receiver needed adjustments. The hitch step did not fit into the factory installed receiver. The step had to be pulled back 5/8 inch to install the receiver pin. The step just flopped around in the receiver. I installed a 5/8 inch piece of 2" square metal tubing shim between the step and the receiver and the step now works great. I am pleased withe the quality of the step and it looks great.
Quick easy install. Great step, strong and folds up out of way when not in use. Great for easy entry to bed of truck.
It really works well in stepping into the back of my 03 Dodge Ram 4X4. It reduced the step height to the bumper by 7 inches. Folds down and back up easily.
I'm a lady who drives a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn Edition with the 20" tires. I love my truck but getting up to get things out of the bed was just horrible. With the Hind step it makes it so much easier; wish I had found it sooner!
Step works well to help reach the roof of my van while cleaning and drying. Nice, solid, quality construction but the hitch lowers clearance by about an inch. May not be an issue on 4x4s, but gets close backing out of incline driveways with a van hitch.
This step fits and works great on my reese hitch. The step has a positive up and down action. The step is big enough for my foot so I can easily step up to my ford step bumper.It is very light, aluminum in color and sturdy. It will protect my receiver opening from moisture. It easily holds my 220 lbs.
Better then then I thought, was very happy. The quality is Outstanding and the look is so clean.
Hitch is sure handy but it did not work with standard hitch pin on my 2007 Chevrolet 2500 HD truck. I had to grind a 1/2" bolt flat on one side to use as a pin. My wife sure likes it.
The Lund hitch step is great for me because I'm short. I flip it down and step right into the back of my cargo van. I don't have to climb in on my knees and it folds neatly away when not in use.
Installed it on our 07 Tahoe. My wife had been having to carry a small step stool to get in and out of the back (too big a vehicle? naah) She LOVES it.
Being vertically challenged, I had to come up with a way to easily get into the back of my 2007 Chevy Suburban. The 2007 Models do not have the drop down step rear bumper. The Lund Hitch Step solved the problem. Works great !!!
This is a sturdy well made product! I will never worry about it breaking with my weight on it.
